Here are herbalists and healers that I love and trust. I’ve known some of these ladies for decades.

Dr. Lola Scarborough, Houston, TX

When I was in the darkest time of my life and couldn’t see a way out, I credit Lola and Mary Anne (below) for reaching in and showing me a way. Lola became one of my dearest friends and her knowledge is incredible. She is a wealth of information and has an unparalleled generosity of spirit.

Mary Anne Casey, Houston, TX

As I mentioned above, Mary Anne played a key role in helping me find a path for my life. She is the kindness person I know and always had the most amazing insight. She tends to say exactly the right thing at the right time. I’ve been blessed with several of her angel readings and they have helped steer my course. She is pure and kind.

Mary Anne Casey is a Life Coach, Spiritual Coach, Angel Messenger Channel, Kundalini Yoga instructor, who Leads Past Life Regressions, and teaches classes in “Deep Listening” called the Clarity Process (sm). Having found deep meaning in Life’s Journey she seeks to help others find the life they love living in.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as “tapping”, is a technique for working with our body’s accupressure points to reduce stess and improve our emotional state. EFT has also been widely used to improve performance, both on the job and with sports. It has helped children and adults to move past difficult experiences, fears or phobias.

Kristine Brown - IL (near St. Louis, MO)

I have known Kristine for a very long time and she has helped me through physical health issues. I have visited her farm and am in love with her soaps! She is one of the best herbal teachers I know!

Kristine Brown, RH(AHG), is helping parents teach their kids about herbalism, one herb at a time. A practicing traditional community herbalist and mother of four children and two stepchildren, two of whom she homeschooled for 11 years, Kristine created the only herbal curriculum that uses all four learning styles (visual, auditory, reading, and kinesthetic).

She has taught classes for homeschooled children locally and coordinated numerous herbal kids’ camps both locally and nationally. She is the writer and illustrator of the online children’s publication Herbal Roots zine, which has been published since 2009 and the creator of several online courses that teach children about botany, drawing, and herbs. She is also the author of Herbalism at Home, The Homesteader’s Guide to Growing Herbs, and Nature Anatomy Activities for Kids books. Teaching others about plants and drawing and sharing her knowledge with children—our future—is her passion. Kristine lives on a homestead with her partner, their two youngest children, plus a variety of cats, dogs, chickens, and goats.

Find her online at https://www.herbalrootszine.com and https://herbalrootszine.teachable.com. Kristine also offers herbal consultations out of her home by appointment. For more information, go to http://lunaherbco.com/consults/. Kristine can be contacted through email: info@herbalrootszine.com

Katrina Bogdon, Seymour, Missouri

I have been working with Katrina for several years after being exposed twice to a toxic load of chemicals. Fortunately I no longer spend my days macerated in toxic chemicals and am working from home. She is a wealth of knowledge and an amazing person!

Katrina Bogdon, ND grew up in the Ozark hills of Arkansas. In 2003, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas with an undergraduate degree in physics. Katrina graduated the oldest 4-year naturopathic medical college in North America--the National College of Natural Medicine (now called NUNM). She received hands-on, supervised training in biochemistry, pathology, laboratory science, diagnostic imaging, clinical physical diagnosis, nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, physical medicine and pharmacology. Completed over 4100 hours of class and clinical training, including over 1200 hours of hands-on, supervised, clinical training.

Since 2007, she has been licensed in the state of Washington as a naturopathic physician through the Washington Department of Health. Even though she is trained and licensed to diagnose and prescribe in Washington State, Missouri does not recognize the practice of naturopathic medicine. The level of education of naturopathic doctors varies greatly in unlicensed states, such as Missouri--from self-education to correspondence school education to people who completed a four year on-site naturopathic medical degree with boards and residency, such as Katrina Bogdon, ND. In Missouri, she serves as a healthcare consultant, where she cannot prescribe or diagnose. In essence, she is a "second pair of eyes" and brings a fresh perspective to her clients. As appropriate, she will refer for diagnosis or needed care.

From 2007 to 2009, she completed a two-year residency under the Bastyr Residency program in naturopathic oncology in Tulsa, OK. She served at Cancer Treatment Centers of America for five years. In 2012, she opened Our Healing Roots, LLC in Tulsa. In 2015, she transitioned her clinic to Springfield, Missouri. Beginning in spring of 2018, she began offering naturopathic consults, retreats and workshops at her farm Iris Hill in Seymour, MO. We lost so many healing traditions in our culture with the rise of pharmaceutical medicine. She loves the traditions carried by great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents about health, and she endeavors to teach people how to safely return to these roots of healing and integrate this with the evidence-based science of today.

Katrina Bogdon, ND has been dedicated to supporting people learn how to reclaim their health, whether they feel stressed out, tired, and foggy or are going through serious cancer treatment.
